Thanks to a $5000 grant from the SPCAI, Mid Hudson Animal Aid was able to spay and neuter 56 cats, as well as provide flea treatments, vaccines, testing, and medical care for new intakes! We are proud to partner with this amazing organization. Follow their incredible work here: https://www.facebook.com/spcai
MHAA is home to over 140 cats. Each resident costs $200 a month! A monthly sponsorship of a cat goes a long way towards helping more cats. Set up a recurring payment via Paypal for $30 a month or send a check attention KittyKompanion.

Sweet little Kensington looks super excited to have a new forever family!
Lexie is a fantastically sassy diva who enjoys having attention lavished on her. She is either striking a pose or lounging in our lobby with her bodacious belly exposed. Lexie has been at MHAA for ten years and is ready to spend her senior years in a quiet, loving home. Click here
Mid Hudson Animal Aid continues to be inundated with calls to take in stray kittens. We would really like to help but need foster homes in order to do so. Please email sheltermanager@midhudsonanimalaid.org if you are interested in becoming a kitten foster.
Our Feral Friends Program is designed to help the feral cats living at MHAA. If you are interested in becoming a Feral Friend, please email feralfriends@midhudsonanimalaid.org, and a feral cat will be assigned to you. The staff at MHAA will teach you how to help socialize the cat by talking to it, sitting with it, as well as giving it treats and other attention. You may be assigned to a cat who is very frightened, or a cat that just needs extra attention but is starting to trust people already.
